That yellow flag on main page dont tell you anything about if you are active or not :evil:
If im wrong, it is some suprise to me :roll:

It only does some harm to new users, who are dealing with firewalls

If you are referring to the torrent health indicator in the application itself, click on it and read the description of each color.

it tells me that i cannot be in active mode, thats not true

I dont know how linux iptables works, but that yellow thing on that page doesnt give anything. Im not going to open any ports - only forwading those.
I see my self active on several places now. Some trackers were busy, and i thought it was my fault, because that yellow thing told me it too..
It just isnt like it tells :wink:

If you set up iptables to allow traffic on the listen port range defined in BitTornado (6881-6999 TCP by default) your speeds will increase GREATLY and that yellow indicator in the download window will turn blue or green within 30 minutes.

i suspect the note on the main page about status light being YELLOW is the source of confusion. it really doesn't give any information about the status of your bittorent client. it reads "if your status light is YELLOW..." so...
