 Post subject: why is it so slow?

when i try to use this software, everything im trying to get says its going to take like 300 hours to get. I have my upload maxed, so that shouldn't be the problem.... Im a noob at this thing as this is my first try. All help is appreciated. THanks

go to http://www.portforward.com/ to forward your ports if you have a yellow light, and limit your uploadrate to around 80% of your max. or maybe even lower, just experiment with this....

you wouldn't be able to download really fast if you have your upload maxed... you should cap your upload to around 66% percent of your max upload rate because bittornado uses some of the upload bandwidth to communicate with the tracker.. read all this from azureus website somewhere
