idk either i was hoping you guys would know... i get an error and says that this client doesnt support gzip based announcements... it looks like ill never get the file i want... oh well Thanks anyways.

Bittornado supports gzip based announces. There are problems reported with norton firewalls, so try to disable them if possible.

Make sure the tracker is working appropriately. I am working on a tracker, and it seems when Apache 1.x (2.x untested) is used on a Windows platform, no matter what I do, it gives me this error.

Luckily I primarily develop on a Linux box so this isn't an issue with me. But it does tell you, it may not be the client at fault..
