When I put my cursor over the system tray icon, then a small window comes up stating my ISP, Speed, Sent Bytes, Received Bytes.

The Window states:

Sympatico (my isp)
Speed: 100.0 Mbps
Sent: 81,789,197 bytes
Recieved: 60,317,954 Bytes

No, I'm not from the Pantagon. I live in Canada, my computer knowledge isn't very good, and sorry if i've confused something with something else and which I don't think I did.

www.dslreports.com/stest
look up your max speeds and report back to me.

Btw that 100mpbs is the speed of the network not of the internet connection.
