I used to do quite a bit of download, but got distracted from the art. Last download technology I used was flashget ^^;;

So I learned BitTorrent (I think) and it seemed pretty cool. I have a question. When leaving downloads overnight, can I set the system to "stand-by" mode to conserve electricity with the downloads going? I did that with BitTorrent (the official version) and they all crashed when I woke up. I use Bit Tornado now. Please tell me if it's something I did wrong, or just something that shouldn't happen again.

I don't think using the standby mode will work, just turn of your monitor to save electricity, you can't turn off the harddisk etc. because BT needs it.
