hey, if i pause a download and turn off my computer, can i start with the same progress again later? Do i need to like, run the torrent file again and click manual announce or sumthin?

Don't pause the torrent, simply close bittornado. If you want to restart the download, run the torrent file again, it will resume were you left it with all the settings and already downloaded data.
