Hello.

I use ABC, and it's based on TheShadow's client. I would like to know if TheShadow is planning on updating his client to the BitTorrent 4 technology.

And also, if somebody would be so kind to explain to me the differences between versions 3 and 4 of BitTorrent.

Thanks in advance.

No since of the recent License Changes. Shadow rather not implement the new code.

Are we missing any important feature?

...only thing that keeps grabbing my attention is the fact V4 is single port. That really gives me the horn.

It appears that most of the changes are to the gui. Probably to cleaning up the code, too.

The single port thing is something that bittornado has done since about the beginning. I imagine you could also set it back to port-per-swarm mode, too.

I'm curious about what license changes were made that would prevent theshad0w from moving to v4.

Have i missed the boat somewhere? I thought with BitTornado you had to open 1 port per active torrent?
