in prefs under the UPnP Port forwarding tab it has type 1, type 2 and diable what do these things mean?

I seem to recall that UPnP Port Forwarding should only be used by those who cannot open up their ports manually. I can open all my ports fine so I've disabled that option. I have no idea what Type 1 and Type 2 do, though.
