my upload speed always caps out at 30 kB/s. Is there any way I can increase that speed or am I at the mercy of my ISP? |

It depends what speed internet connection you have? ISP gives it to you in kbits/s - divide that by 8 and that's your theoretical maximum rate -although other factors such as contention ratio and upload rate will also play a part. |
