I like, nay love, Bit Tornado compared to all other BT clients, but this Safe Peer plug in for Azureus sounds mighty enticing. I've never gotten speeds remotely close to Bit Tornado when using it though which is the main reason I haven't switched.

What I'm wondering is:

1) Does anyone know if things for BT like Safe peer for Azureus are actually any good/ how they work? (cause I obviously don't)

2) Is Bit Tornado ever going to have any competitive options integrated, or as a plug-in/mod/whatever?

As I understand it it in some way prtoects the user/user's IP in some way from the fuc . . . I mean, MPAA & RIAA.

Try PeerGuardian 2: http://methlabs.org/projects/peerguardian-2-windows/

It's an external blocking program you can run to give you blocking capability when using your preferred BitTornado client.

To answer your question as to if these types of programs are any good, yes, they are. But don't be under any illusion that you are 100% protected. All it takes is one new or unkown ap2p IP to connect to you.
