gday.. i switched from a adsl modem to a smc router.. my speeds with the modem were around the 50kb and i was on a 512/128 plan.. since switching to a router 1500/128 plan. my speeds have dropped heaps down to around the 20kb's.. everything is on automatic like it was before.. i've set my ports up right.. i get green lights etc.. i was wondering if there any settings to up the speed? cheers |

you may need to forward ports through your router. goto start>run>ipconfig, this will get your ip address then put that into your browser and you will then be able to open ports |

Maybe the upload rate needs some manual fine tuning Try it on cable/dsl slow with the upload set as low as the slider will permit. |
