I am looking for a torrent that enables me to download multiple torrents at at time. I'm currently using what I believe is simply called "Bittorent" (http://www.bittorrent.com/ the one created by Bram Cohen), but I want something that can download multiple bittorents at a time given that I have a fast cable connection and my program only downloads one show at a time, often at only 3-5 kb per second. While Azereus seems to be a good torrent to download multiple files, it made me rethink my identity as a computer literatate person as I was buffudled by this unbelievably complicated piece of software. Does a program that downloads multiple files really need to be that complicated? The million dollar question is, does BitTornado Tornado download multiple files at a time or should I use another program and if so, what program? Thanks!

Downloading multiple torrents won't really speed you up if your settings are horrible.

You should first make sure that your client is reachable and that you're not uploading too much for your connection.
Use the connection checker at http://forums.degreez.net/viewtopic.php?t=1457 to make sure you're reachable.
http://portforward.com/routers.htm and http://firewalling.com can give you steps to configure the firewalls and routers you may have.

My issue isn't that I'm not 'reachable.' Some torrents come through at 3-5 kb because it's torrenting from somebody working through a phone line -that's why I want to torrent multiple shows at a time. Usually, good torrents for me dance around 40 kb/sec and much much high. This brings me back to my original question -does anybody recommend any easy to use torrent client that allows multiple torrents to run at the same time.

You may want to try ABC, built on the BitTornado core.

I suggest you not waste further time with Tornado or any of its clones like ABC or Torrentstorm, all of them are dead anyway. Try and use Azureus or the offical client and you will see the difference immediately.

TorrentStorm is the only dead project out of what you listed.
