I've read talk about this before, but I would like to see the BitTorrent Hand shake to be encrypted to prevent throttling. With BitTornado and just about every other client except uTorrent I can’t get above 39.9kbs upload on my DSL, uTorrent can spike into the high 40kbs range. My DSL, SBC Yahoo, has a 300kbs upload. |

My DSL upload is supposed to be in bytes. My cousin who uses the same DSL service pays for a higher limit and doesn't get higher. So we believe it's throttled. But I'm starting to think I was lied to aswell. Either way I'm switching to cable when my contract ends next month. Hmm, Azureus 2.3.0.6 seems to beable to spike the upload into the 50kb range before getting knocked down into the mid 30kb range. |
