|Post subject:||cannot connect to seeds and peers.|
ill start with my problem,
im downloading some files using utorrent, at the moment this is what im getting:
download 1: Seeds 2 (90) Peers 9 (446)
download 2: Seeds 7 (17) Peers 26 (218)
download 3: Seeds 3 (379) Peers 6 (1028)
download 4: Seeds 2 (130) Peers 15 (567)
so as you can tell i am not connecting to all the possible seeds and peers therefore my download speed is totally rubbish.
this happened after i had to reinstall windows on my laptop, so im thinking its an issue from my laptop rather then a router.
this is what ive got, sky 8mb broadband, using sky's black netgear router.
im using utorrent and i have the green tick, ive got ports 5217 open.
ive read the guides online but everything i try does not work, ive changed ports, ive tried a different downloading client (bitorrent) and so on, and still the same thing happens.
any advice from you guys will b appreciated.
thanks in advance.

It'a a bittornado forum, not µtorrent...
However it sounds like a port forwarding issue.
Firewall from Win, trd part security soft or from a box?
If you reinstalled XP, try to find a "patch" for "windows limitting max TCP connections" issue.
