As of 2 years ago (really), I gave up on this application due to inactivity. It showed little promise from the get-go anyways.
Here is my unofficial statement stating that this project is dead in all angles and views. You've lost the support of about 100 not including me as of today.

*spits on application*

Go with Azureus or uTorrent.

thats fucked up. no reason to "spit on application" just because development is dead.

bittornado is a legend. it is still one of the bittorrent greats, introducing super-seed and STILL till this day is one of the best with performance and efficiency

If you have a problem, bug reports are considered more productive.

As for not having updates recently... if it isn't broken, don't fix it. It WORKS. It doesn't have security flaws that need constant patching. And it works on most platforms.

The author checks the forum pretty regularly. He's also the main moderator. Just because we didn't set up a bugzilla instance doesn't mean it's impossible to report bugs.

Besides, I'm pretty sure BitTornado is bug-free. :)

Bad encoded data when loading torrents created with newer versions of uT.

There's 1.

The simple fact is that many trackers are removing tornado from their whitelists simply because of lack of development.
I don't agree with this stance, if a client is stable and causes no adverse affects to the tracker then why ban it?

I've yet to see any evidence of security holes, protocol issues or serious bugs that normally result in a tracker banning a client, but if the trackers DO ban it then tornado will die won't it?
