but is there a way of masking your ip addresss when using shadows or bit tornado

i.e when you are running bt client if you click advanced it shows you all the ip adresses is there anyway you could fix it so that the ip addresses dont show or show as xxx xxx xxx xx if you get my idea as if we are trying to avoid riaa and the likes all thy need to do is dl torrent file start dl it the go to advance and hey pressto all the ip adresses

or have i got this all wrong

just a thought

Masking the IP in a client will only prevent people who use that client from seeing other IPs. That's sort of silly. You could easily write a program that would query the tracker and report all the IPs, without a bittorent client.

so what you are saying is, the tracker level is where the prob lives

is there any way to fill this loop hole in the bt clients/trackers ?
