My software firewall is sending alerts about the client trying to send e-mail via SMTP. What is that all about?

That is most likely due to some people setting their bittorrent port to port 25.

Hi Whoever.ca:
Do you happen to be running ZoneAlarm? ZoneAlarm occassionally gives false alerts about programs trying to send an email when they really aren't. This is a known bug. If it is ZoneAlarm giving you the notice, just set ZoneAlarm so that it does let the "Ghost email" to be sent & you shouldn't have any problems.... to the best of my knowledge. :)
