I read most the forums here and tried most of the advice given to fix the yellow light problem. I disabled my firewall on Win XP and set the IE config to a proxy howver i still get the yellow light while my bro has a green light in the next room could it be that i have to set two static IPs to forward the ports on my router?

If you want to forward ports to two different IPs, you have to split the port range, for example forward ports 6881-6890 to the IP of computer 1 and the ports 6891-6900 to computer 2, then configure bittornado on computer 1 to use ports 6881-6890, and 6891-6900 on computer 2. Both IPs should be static IPs.
