How can i get bittorrent to work when i'm in a college firewall?
the only http port open is port 8000, and we need a username&pw to surf the web.

i know there is another bittorrent client called bitspirit which allows me to use http proxy, and it works, but its just too unreliable. What should i do?

i went to the dessent's bt faq, but still it doesn't work.

i wish the http/sock5 authentication option was included in bittornado! then you guys will be the saviour for all college ppl!
