i'm downloading a file with around 40 seeds, i have my port forwarded to 6881-6889 on a belkin router.

help!

Open up more ports :D

I have more than 50 ports open for bittornado.
i always get great speeds

Bittornado only needs one port per instance, so you would only need to open 50 ports if you want to download 50 different torrents simultaneously :wink: .

so does it mean that as long as ur bittorrent goes green, everything is fine?

Yes, green light means that you get remote connection (advanced window, connections with "R"). Also check that you have some local connection (connections with "L"), but that shouldn't be a problem.
And don't forget to cap your upload speed at about 80%. http://bittornado.com/faq.html
