hi, i know how to load up the web interface for this
but not exactly sure how to open up the ports

any advice?

It's on page 31 in your router manual (NAPT).
The "Inside IP" is the IP of the computer that is connected to your router. "Inside Port" and "Outside Port" are 6881 if you use the default ports in bittornado. The other settings are just like shown in the picture, protocol is TCP and outside IP is 0.0.0.0 .This will open up one port, if you want to open more ports, you have to repeat the steps for the ports 6882, 6883 and so on. Bittornado needs one port for every instance (download) you run.
You can also use the "default server" function to open all ports for the given IP, but use a software firewall when using this option.
