i have a USR 8000 router.. i've tried forwarding ports 6881-6999 but when i try the grc site.. only 2 ports are open.. the rest are closed.. anyone can help? |

That is normal. The number of ports open in your bittorrent-only port range would be equal to the number of active bittorrent downloads you had when you scanned with grc.com. Having a green status and 2 "open" ports means that no peers should have any problems connecting to you and your speed problems may lie elsewhere. |

Also, you probably don't need a port range that big to be forwarded unless you plan on having more than 9 bittorrent downloads active at a time. Since most people aren't, 6881 through 6889 is probably all you will need. |
