I have a Network Everywhere wireless router, which is a rebranded Linksys router. I've forwarded ports 6881-6999. With one torrent running, Shields Up says port 6881 is open, Solicited Packets respond, Unsolicited Packets don't respond, Ping Echo doesn't respond. When I try just Port Triggering, or turning Port Forwarding and Triggering off completely, it says that port is closed, although Solicited Packets respond. All-Nettools detects no proxy.

I always have a yellow light. I tried Azureus's port test, and it passes on the BT port and fails on a non-BT port. I try the port on http://btfaq.com/natcheck.pl and it fails.

I appreciate any ideas and help!

My Network Everywhere setup page for Forwarding defaults to UPNP Forwarding. I set it up there instead of Port Range Forwarding and now everything works.

The problem you are having is most likely due to your computer not having a static ip address. There is probably multiple computers on your network. They are probably all set to dhcp. When you boot up your computer it is assigned an available ip address. Everytime you boot this ip address may change. Thus the ports you forwarded to your ip address may not stay forwarded. It's pretty easy to fix. Take a look at this page for a walkthrough.

Hope that helps,

Me too, but I'm not getting any R (Remote) connections when I click on Advanced in BitTornado.

All my sources are local (L) connections, so it's still going as slow (7-11KB/sec) as it was on yellow.
