Yellow Light? Try This:
Go to your Router Homepage, for Linksys this is default 192.168.1.1 default password: admin Once you are logged in:
1.) Click on "Advanced" Tab
2.) Click on "Forwarding" Tab
3.) Click on "Port Triggering" Button
4.) Type in Application Name: BitTorrent
5.) Under Trigger Port Range, type "6881-6889"
6.) Under Incoming Port Range type "6881-6889"
7.) Hit Apply
Now you are back to the Forwarding Page, follow the next 5 steps to finish:
1.) Type in the App Name, (i.e. BitTorrent)
2.) Type in the ports that you specified on the trigger tab (i.e. 6881-6889)
3.) Put a check mark on both Protocol TCP and Protocol UDP boxes
4.) Type in the ending digit(s) of your IP adress (see below about setting a Static IP if you need to)
5.) Throw a check mark in "Enable" and hit Apply

It helps to have a Static IP set for Step 4, to do this, here are two helpful websites:
For Windows XP:
http://www.portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htm
For Windows 98:
http://www.portforward.com/networking/static-98.htm
Ignore what the person had written in for the Preferred and Alternate DNS server, just type in your router IP under Preferred.

If both Forwarding and Port Triggering are set correctly your light should go from that dreaded yellow to green instintaniously.
Hope this helps
