i got a d-link 500 router and there's nothing saying port forwarding there. There's only port redirection, is that the same? And having no port redirection I still get a green light though the dw speed usually low like 10-20 k on 512 adsl.

Do u think i should use the port redirection?

actually not 10 - 20 k, its usually less than 10kbps
