can i have a little help on , an illustraiton / step by step break down on how to forward ports at your router between 6881-6999 TCP and 90, 6666, 6969 TCP ports as sum1 mentioned before on hotw to get green light because it sounds confusing can you please help me as i am stuck on yello foreva it seems. i have alreadychanged settings on bittornado to given number. just the router forwarding port thing confusing me help please thankx |

It's different for each router. It should be called "Port Forwarding" or "Servers" or something like that in your router's config interface. If you need more help, look at the manual/support site, or post what router you have and someone may be able to give you some info. Here's a text "picture" of it... PORT FORWARDING Start: _6881_ End: _6999_ Protocol: _TCP_ Server: _192.168.0.100_ Substitute in your PC's LAN IP address for 192.168.0.100... That's really all there is to it, just put those numbers into the port forwarding setup... |
