 Post subject: Consistent Yellow Light

I'm running WinXP Pro (no service packs), and Norton Internet Security 2005 as my firewall. I always have a yellow light, and can't seem to figure out why that is. Mainly because I ran the SAME programs before I moved to where I'm at now. Only difference is that I am now running WinXP Pro vs WinXP Home (before I moved). Can anybody help?

disable any and all firewalls that you have. forward your ports through the router.

you wont be 'blasted with shit' as you so nicely put it. if you have a decent antivirus with activeshield (or something like it) then you shouldnt have any trouble.

i reccommend kaspersky.

Then stop wastin your time with Bittorrent and bittornado. you will always have a yellow light and slow speeds if you are firewalled. That is basically what the yellow light means.
