 Post subject: hub/yellow light problem
PostPosted: Fri Aug 12, 2005 8:54 pm
I just downloaded BitTornado and started downloading and noticed the yellow light. I've tried everything even completely turning off the firewall and nothing is working. I'm at a dead end and need some suggestions.

try using different ports, the more random the better. (over 10000 works best tho)

what firewall are you using? its best not to completely disable it because some are bastards (especially XP SP2) for closing ports after they have been disabled...

if you forward the correct ports through it then you can rule that out as a possible yellow light causer

right. this may or may not work. goto www.whatismyip.com and copy your ip.

then goto prefs>advanced in bittornado.

then where it says local ip (first field) enter the ip that you got from the website.

save the settings and close bt down. re-open it and start a torrent download. leave it for 10 mins and you might just have a green light
