I forwarded the correct ports as well as triggers but i still have a yellow light problem. It does not upload at full capactiy either. Also when i dont use my LAN connection with my router but instead my DSL connection with windows firewall it works fine but router+firewall=yellow light for some reason. Can somone help me? i added the bitornado ports and the bittorrent ports that were in www.portforward.com/common ports and as well as adding the HTTP and FTP ports too.

" router+windowsfirwall+LANconnection=yellow light" should be "router+windowsFirwall+DSlconnection=green".

This one is bugging me. I had the Netgear working fine on my last motherboard but after switching it won't go green.

I added more ports (6881-6999) and (10000-10004) as well as a port trigger for 6969.

No XP SP2 firewall. No software firewall of any kind. I put the computer in the DMZ and it goes green just like clockwork.

I checked Portforward.com's info and NetGear's info as well and I have everything configured correctly (or so I think). Also set a static IP on the computer.

Any ideas?

This fixed my problems!!!!

If you're using Bit Tornado it uses a completely different port range to the default 6891 to 6999. In "Prefs" you will see the port range. For me it was set to 10000 to 60000. Choose a random number between 10000 and 60000, set that number your "From" port. Add 20 to that number and set that as you "To" port. Then map that port range through your NAT/Firewall. Fixed my green light problems.
