i run on xp pro and a ethernet broadband internet and i use bittornado but always get the yellow light.... please help

do you have a router? Do use any kind of firewall? Is your windows firewall on?

i have a router i think and i did the whole port fowarding thing but dont know if it worked but still get the yellow light, i have the windows firewall on and i have a program called avast for virus and firewall
