Like most of you, I've opened every port on my software and hardware firewalls and still received a NAT error with Azureus. I thought my ISP might have been blocking the ports. I searched my router (Linksys WRT54G) for any clues, fucked with the UPNP settings. My domain was listed as "gateway.2wire.net." Guess what?

MY FUCKING MODEM HAS A FIREWALL AND IT'S OWN WIRELESS TRANSMISSION CAPABILITIES.

Gay.

I adjusted the port forwarding on my MODEM and blammo! No NAT errors!

Maybe those of us that are stuck can list the modem model here and ways to access/fix this fucking problem.

So if you have a 2wire modem, check that domain in your address bar. I have a feeling this could help a bunch of people.
