my download speed is going like 24kb/s and im using shaw high speed and with no router also i am using windows service pack 1 (not two). The only thing i have to make the speed go slow is AVG so can you help me configure it or tell me if something is slowing down my speed. |

I assume that you have had faster speeds? If so you may want to go to shaw site and check your past... up & download history...then check your contract to see what your allowed.......they may have throttled your loads. I was way over my uplaods and they throttled me both ways. I was only allowed 10 gb & I was over 100gb.......They called it abuse. I don't know what to do now...guess thats the end of torrents for me...they want $129.00 a month for the loads I have been using. Maybe others could post their cost & load allowances. |
