Post subject:  arrrrgggg... port forwarding help
well i got a linksys thing, and i tried going to the 192.168.1.1 website thing and the stupid thing asks for a password. i try the default thing but it doesnt freakin work. i do not remember/know what the darn password is and i am getting pissed. :evil: my question is is there a way to find this password somewhere saved on the computer or should i just give up all hope of using this bittorrent stuff and just go cry in the corner????

Try the following: "admin" or "password" (without the quotes of course )or just leave the password field blank.

those passwords were from my fuzzy memory but your manual should say what the default password is. If not, reset the router per the instructions in the manual and try again.
