Sold my laptop which had XP on it and started using my desktop again. When I had my laptop it was plugged into my router (Linksys BEFW11S4) and everything was fine, had windows Firewall on no ports forwarded and got green lights everytime. Now im on my desktop, set everything up just like the laptop and get yellow light. If tried EVERYTHING I can think off -Turned DHCP off made static IP -Turned Windows XP Firewall off -Moved IP into DMZ in Router -POrt Forwarded Ports in Router and changed BT settings -Plugged Desktop straight into the modem itself, bypassing the router and I see get the freaking yellow light Im fed up im sure its something stupid can someone please help me. |
