 Post subject: DMZ And routers

Okay, so if I dont have my router plugged in and just have net going to my own personal comp rather than to all in the house my torrents go far faster than when my router is in. You may say thats normal, but I have my comp set on DMZ on my router and still get a green light. What else in my router could be holding back my speed. Thanks.

Bad firmware in the router -- something that may be adding unneccessary latency to all the packets.

Have you tried flashing the bios/firmware on the router with the latest firmware revision?
