operating system: Windows XP
Cable Modem connected to a Netgear WGT624 Router w/ opened ports
Zone Alarm Installed w/ Bit tornado given super access

At first I had no problems with Bit Tornado or any bit torrent client. Downloads ranged from 50-200kb/s. Suddenly, I could not get rid of the yellow light. I couldn't figure out why it appeared. I went over everything from forwarding the ports in zone alarm and my router setup through altering my tcp/ip settings. Two things seemed to solve my yellow light issue, I thought it might help some.

1) I downloaded and adjusted to optimal settings using the "tcp/ip optimizer" from http://speedguide.net

2)After downloading fast torrents for a while the light turned yellow again, I went through the above obstacles again, nothing had changed. What I did was shut off both computers. Unplug the power cable from the router. Unplug the coaxial cable and power cable from the cable modem, waited about 1/2 hour and then plugged everything back in, restarted both computers and viola...the light was green again...

I hope this is helpful to someone. I almost cried with that yellow light hehe...
