i dont know on that particular modem, but have you ever been to the controls of the modem like a website or panel that controls the functions of your modem, in there you could change things. Just contact me on MSN @ chemicalfission@aol.com i'll be glad to help you out. 8)

Go to http://www.netopia.com/en-us/equipment/tech/doc_center.html , there you will find the "3300 Series User Guide, version 7.3" and some other documents.
In the above user guide is explained how to configure a "pinhole" (page 85..), you have to make an entry for ports 6881-6899 or whatever ports you have set in bittornado, look at the examples in the user guide.
To access the web based configuration menu you have to enter the ip of the router in a web browser, default is http://192.168.1.254 .

thanks for your help :D
but I dont think I'm doing it right, This what I Filled out:

Pinhole name: bittorrent
Protocol Select: TCP
External Port Start: 6881
External Port End: 6999
Internal IP: 192.168.1.0
Internal Port: 0

is this Right?
thanks again.
Cory.

You have to set the internal port to 6881.
The internal ip should be the ip of the computer running bittorrent, but i guess that's ok.

Hi,
After spending a fair amount of time not thinking carefully about this, I though a little less hard, and determined that it's best to set up a pinhole rule for each port (6881-6889) that BT uses. This means 9 Pinhole rules, AND, you can only create pinholes for one host behind the firewall. While it takes a while to creat the pinholes, it works very well.

good luck
