So i opened some ports or whatever through my router, and my downloads were at the green light at like 200 k/s but then a day later, my internet goes down and i have to reset my router. how can i fix this?

If you've narrowed it down to JUST your router overloading/crashing, then the answer's simple:

Your router sucks.

Look for a newer firmware for it from the company that makes it. If there's not one, then it's just a limitation of the router -- you'll have to lower settings in BitTornado to minimize router crashes:
1.60 or fewer connections at once...or less
2.download max speed of 200 KB/sec...or less
3.UPLOAD max speed no more than 80% of your connection's uploat max...or less
