Post subject: port forwarding at work

Excuse my ignorance in advance.. I've used the portforward.com howto to port forward at home and it's working splendidly...

Now I'm wondering if I try it at work will it affect the other five computers hooked up to the router? obviously I'm trying to do this without anyone knowing. What can I expect to happen if I port forward through this router?

I cannot imagine your work allowing you to make arbitrary router settings changes. But without router changes you will be firwalled unless the router already has UPnP enabled.

Still, it's not something you should probably be doing without clearing it with your boss/s.
