Hey I think my isp throttle ports... Ares works fine for me though... Progs like torrents and lime wire have a hard time workin.. like 2k a sec... My router doesnt block any ports.... when i forward my ports i cant even connect.... some torrents i conect to i get 2k-3k with 10-20 seeds and shit load of peers... and other i get 30k

Every torrent i try i get yellow screen..

is there any ports taht are good to use... a range of ports...?

I also have a static ip never changes could this be my problem... i consulted my isp many times they tell me they dont block or throttle any ports for p2p software... My friend has diff isp works fine can any one help me out?

Who's your ISP?

If it's Rogers, Shaw, InsightBB, or SingTel...just give up, those ISPs are expert liars about how they're screwing over their customers.

My Google search puts you on a small ISP in Canada.
They likely have to connect through Rogers or Shaw network to the REST of the internet...and while connecting through, your connection is throttled.

So it may be that your ISP is not blocking in any way but Rogers or Shaw is -- because they can hit your ISP with the bandwidth bill for bandwidth that wasn't even delivered!
