| Post subject: | IP confusion |
i have two cat5 plugs in my room and i just moved my computer to the second one. everything was fine on the other one. now with the new plug, i get the yellow light no matter what. i checked my ip from my local area connection status and opened the ports for that ip but it still says i'm firewalled. so anyways, i came here to try and figgure out whats up and i came across this: http://btfaq.com/natcheck.pl now, on that site it says my ip is different than what my computer says. so then i went to http://www.whatismyip.com and it says its the same thing. so my question is: why doesn't the ip on my computer match the ip on these sites? |
