Topic kinda says it all. I have enough security on my comp... ad-aware SE pro, spybot, nod32, etc etc. But do I really need a firewall on the router? My router is a DI-624. If there is a way to disable it or hack into the router to make it act like a cable modem in a way. Just forward everything without blocking anything? Is this possible and safe? |

Yes, it is very easy to do, all you need to do is set your computer to be the router's DMZ. Then everything recieved by the router automatically gets forwarded to your computer. |
