Hi, i was wondering how i should forward my ports. I have been trying for hrs how to get the ports through the router. Zonealarm is fine cuz when i connected my comp directly to the internet, w.o the router. my speeds increased dramatically.

When i try to add "btdownloadgui.exe" into the application name on the port fowarding section of the linksys router page, it does now allow me b/c the name is too long. So what other application name should i use if i am using Shadows BT program?

Thx in advance

Later versions of Windows have a "QoS" packet scheduler, which is very nice and prevents your computer from flooding your uplink. Most cable/DSL routers unfortunately sabotage this. Try reducing your upload to 80% of your maximum.
