same problem here with bittornado (and emule 0.47c)

tried this: wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=131662 but nothing

comodo is too restrictive and very user-unfriendly

I think I will uninstall this Comodo firewall, but it's a pain because I don't want to return to the abandoned-by-the-developers Kerio firewall.... and jetico firewall and the rest of the free ones are a joke...

To get bittorrent clients working with Comodo, you have to add a network control rule to the network monitor (Security -> Network Monitor).

The rule should look like this:
Allow TCP/UDP In from IP ANY to IP ANY where SOURCE PORT is ANY and DESTINATION PORT is the port/port range you set in the torrent client to use.

Don't forget, that the network rules are parsed from top to bottom, so the rule has to be moved above all block rules that would otherwise block it.

I did that, and I still have the yellow light...

Could you post a list of all of yours network control rules (in the exact same order as they appear in CPF)?

I am PM'ing the info, because for some reason I can't post URL's in here.

Well, there is the problem, you have to set a TCP/UDP In rule, not a TCP/UDP Out rule!

Well, I had it set as In/Out and that didn't work, so I put it back. But the activity page shows every Torrent Client using any port it feels like with incoming connections no matter what I do so I am kinda stuck there.

As I said, change it to TCP/UDP In, not Out and not In/Out, as that doesn't work. An In/Out network rule gives sense only if the source and destination are the same for both directions, and this is not the case.

Ok, I did as you said and it's working. IMO, they should make this more user friendly. I am not a master of computers and networks, but I know a lot. This is the first firewall I have seen (for home users) that the terminology could have been better.
Thanks for the help.
