as it says on the title, before i had the router, i could dl stuff really fast and it was green, now its just yellow. any idea on what i have to do?

Try clearing your router's UPnP table. (Don't ask me how, all routers are different. Consult your manual.)

No, seriously, consult the instruction booklet and see how to do it.

Failing that, unplugging the router for a few seconds may accomplish the same goal, if you don't mind your internet connection being broken for a bit.
