I already have specific ports set aside on my router for bittorrent. So, simple thing to do, is change bittornados range to match these ports. Now, it says at the bottom "These settings will not take effect until you restart bittorrent". So, i restart bittorrent. And what do ya know, all the settings I changed have been undone and are back to defaults.
Running Debian Etch AMD64

Permissions problem in ~/.BitTornado, or wherever the debian packagers relocated the file to.
