Make sure you don't have NAT enabled on your Router/ Modem and open up Ports 6881-6999 on your firewall or router

are you stuck behind a transparent proxy, ISP's have started using them to decrease their extremal traffic

I would also like to know how to get around stealth ports. I am on a college system and i used sheildsup to check my ports and all were stealth. surely there must be a way around this cuz my download speeds suck with BT. I would love to be able to get faster download speeds using BT cuz there are tons of files i would love to get.
