hi guys. i have the netgear mr314 wireless router and am still seeing yellow.

here's a breakdown

1. opened ports 6881 - 6999 which were forwarded to my CURRENT ip address

2. there are four pcs in the house. only i have forwarded the ports to my ip.

3. the ips are not static. we are assigned ips everytime we log in.

4. my xp firewall is disabled.

5. do i have to open port 80 or 81 or something?

plsplspls someone help me before i tear my hair out.much obliged~!

You only need to forward the ports which you configured in bittornado prefs and you only need to open as much ports as you want to run instances of bittornado. You also have to ensure that the ports are always forwarded to the correct IP, so if you don't have a static (LAN) IP and your IP changes you have to reconfigure the port forwarding to the new IP or it won't work, therefore a static IP would be a good thing.
Compare the WAN IP at your router status page with the IP shown on the http://btfaq.com/natcheck.pl page. If they differ, you may be behind a proxy or your ISP blocks the ports, if not your port forwarding settings are probably not correct.

by changing your support network config youll see all main incoming signals as static reverts by opening your subnet mask i.p and entering 6888-6999 youll be constantally opening each trigger network connection to down/l at the max your system can handle getting the full intake
