I just downloaded and unpacked the bittorando. Then i changed to bittornado directory and tried to ./btdownloadgui.py and it says
"bash-2.05a$ ./btdownloadgui.py
File "./btdownloadgui.py", line 22
from socket import error as socketerror

SyntaxError: invalid syntax
bash-2.05a$"

Then i checked i got new python...i got python 2.2.2.
Next i tried to start screen and then type that command, but i got again same answer. Next i tried to start python and write command there but it said that error message again.

So what am i doing wrong?

I browsed those install web pages through and i found none help for this problem.

I got SME SERVER 6.0.1 based on RED HAT
