You can go for either experimental or stable - doesn't really matter. The experimental client has the latest features, but, as is obvious, not tested for stability. So it may crash or mess up the download sometimes - which hasn't happened to me anyways. On the other hand, the stable client is a bit old and lacks some performance upgrades, but you can rest assured that it will work fine under any (normal) condition.
